造血干细胞背景综述
Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are multipotent stem cells that give rise to all the cell types of the blood throughout adult life. The hematopoietic tissue contains cells with long-term and short-term regeneration capacities and committed multipotent, oligopotent, and unipotent progenitors. Hematopoietic stem cells are differentiated from hemangioblasts which develop from the mesoderm and give rise to hematopoietic stem cells and cells of the vascular endothelium. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) that is the transplantation of blood stem cells derived from the bone marrow or blood has been used in medical treatment for more 50 years. Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is now routinely used to treat patients with cancers and other disorders of the blood and immune systems.
